From a young age Nicole has loved staying active especially if it involves the great outdoors. From swimming to hiking to biking, if it can happen in the sunshine and it gets her heart rate up, Nicole is all about it. Having been involved in a variety of customer service roles from a young age, she is able to understand the needs of others and help them to achieve their goals. Over the past few years Nicole has focused her passion on the fitness realm and learning more about it. She completed her personal training certification through the ACE program in 2013. Through this program she built a foundation in the fitness world, learning about topics, such as anatomy and physiology, nutrition, and motivating others. She further expanded her education and skill-set when she obtained her Jefferson EMT certification in 2014.
Nicole’s participation in a variety of athletic events such as The Broad Street Run, 3 half-marathons in the Philadelphia area, and 2 Tour de Shores (a 65-mile bike race as part of the Central Philadelphia Police Team to benefit the Irish Pub Children’s Foundation), tapped into both her love of people and physical fitness. From there she started designing individualized workout programs for her friends and family. Working as a fitness coach was a natural progression.
Nicole is currently learning the ropes from the amazing group of women at Dub Fitness and feels extremely lucky to have found such great mentors. Her future goals include developing her knowledge in the areas of weight-training and nutritional counseling.
From a young age Chrissy became involved in various sports. Her passion lies with ice hockey, both as a former player and as a Flyers fan. She also played tennis, ran track and field (mostly sprints and hurdles) and even played a season of basketball, although now she prefers cheering on Villanova.
Chrissy received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and minor in Psychology from Villanova University. While an undergrad, she participated in intramural soccer, roller hockey, volunteered for Special Olympics and managed the men’s club ice hockey team. She then went on to Thomas Jefferson University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has been an orthopedic and sports medicine PT for 10 years, working with athletes on high school, collegiate and professional levels.
Chrissy has logged many miles with 5Ks and Broad Street Runs, and she still participates in mud runs. She also enjoys power yoga, kayaking and paddle boarding in the summer, and hiking local trails whenever possible. Most of the time, though, her activities include taking her 2 rescue dogs for walks, as well as running around with her very active toddler son, with her newborn son in tow. She also enjoys a good beer – either homebrewed with her husband or from a good local craft brewery!
Chrissy has enjoyed being a part of the Dub Fitness family, and looks forward to sharing in on the fun with the many events and races that Dub participates in throughout the year.
Becca grew up in a military family (both grandfathers were WWII veterans, Father was and brother and sister-in-law are career Air Force) and has had the opportunity to live in many places in the world. She enjoyed the exposure to different cultures and people, which gave her the ability to adapt quickly to new situations and people. Growing up, she played soccer for school and on a travel team that was ranked nationally. While in college at Auburn University (War Eagle!!), she continued to remain active by working out with friends who were in ROTC. After college and having moved to Germany, she began looking to find a balance and maintain motivation to stay healthy and active. She began running and ran her first marathon in 2003 in Philadelphia. To date, she has run 16 marathons, numerous half marathons, Broad Street Runs, 10k and 5 k races, Tough Mudder and completed 1 sprint Triathlon. She has been and is currently a run coach with Team In Training (benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) and helping others attain their goal of running longer distances than they’ve ever run. She enjoys helping her teammates set personal goals, work to gain the strength and confidence to achieve them and watching them succeed each step of the way.
Rebecca is a true Scorpio and enjoys long days of basking in the sun on the beach. She likes a good dirty martini along with a lot of laughs. She looks forward to the day when she can kick back in the sunshine and live a life of utter heathenism. She is married to a Navy Veteran, has 4 amazingly unique children, 1 dog the size of Texas (but thinks he’s a Chihuahua) and 2 cats. She feels lucky to have found Dub and the family it is and looks forward to seeing Dub from the other side. Becca looks forward to coaching and assisting in the growth of the DUB Fitness family.
"DO. NOT. STOP!" Erica has been a Fitness Coach, Certified Fitness Trainer (ISSA), TRX, and Youth/Adult/Senior Fitness Instructor for over 6 years. She has competed and continues to compete in many fitness challenges including: CrossFit Competitions, Body Building Competitions, 5K’s, 10K's, multiple Triathlons, Half Marathons and Marathons; her latest accomplishment was completing the Original Athens Marathon, located in Greece. Her newest challenge being the Marine Corps Marathon this Fall. She has completed a plethora of mud/obstacle races from Tough Mudders to Spartan Supers. Erica is always encouraging her Dub members to join her on these races; it's just something everyone should experience!
Erica enlisted in the United States Army right after high school graduation, served in the Military Police Corps where she earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. Erica served on 3 overseas tours including deployment to Iraq. She served on Active Duty for a total of 8 years before she received an Honorable Discharge in November 2012. While enlisted, Erica saw a need to help her fellow soldiers remain strong and motivated during their downtime, which was difficult while they were so far away from their homes and loved ones. She created custom workout programs for them according to their individual needs- greatly helping them maintain their physical strength and a positive sense of self-esteem. This drive to assist and aid others stayed with her well beyond her Army career. Keeping this drive alive is where Dub Fitness came to fruition. Erica felt compelled to help educate the community about the some of the issues her fellow veterans battle and to bring awareness about the odds people fight against to live a healthy and full life. Serving her country made her realize how important it is to thank all those who serve. Erica began Dub Fit with one goal in mind, “To Give Back;” most importantly to fellow veterans and first responders. Erica does this by teaming up with local townships and boroughs, to provide fitness to both the youth and adult population in the Philadelphia/Montgomery County regions. Erica also volunteers her coaching and training to raise money for the Awareness of Veteran Suicide, Veteran Homelessness and Cancer Awareness.
She is currently a full time high school Health and Physical Education Teacher at The Philadelphia Military Academy. She is married to a Marine Corps veteran and Philadelphia Firefighter. Erica is the sole owner of Dub Fitness, LLC..
